Connecticut River House

A new house on a beautiful site with stringent zoning and flood hazard restrictions posed many challenges but resulted in a unique riverfront home. The Garage and Main House are connected by a Solarium, giving the client an opportunity to foster his love of gardening or serve dinner parties in the sun during cold winter days. Other features of this house include a first floor Master Suite, a Family Room with cathedral ceilings and exposed collar ties, and a cupola that allows light to penetrate through both first and second floor halls.
