Associate Principal Architect, AIA, LEED Green Associate

A Senior Architect at George Penniman Architects since 2005, Ms. Sullivan is involved in all aspects of the firm’s work. Before joining George Penniman Architects she began her career at The Hillier Group in 1996 where she was a member of the Higher Education Studio and worked on designs for NJIT's Architecture School in Newark, and the Columbia Law and Business School. In 1998, she began work with Centerbrook Architects where she worked on a variety of notable building projects including the National Outdoor Leadership School in Lander, Wyoming, a new Genome Research Laboratory for Cold Spring Harbor Labs, and Wesleyan University’s Clark Hall Dormitory, in Connecticut. In 2002 she began working with Barkin Associates in New Haven, where significant projects included labs at Yale University School of Medicine and a dormitory facility for Camp Horizons in Windham. Since working at Penniman Architects she has worked collaboratively to build several residential projects in Watch Hill Rhode Island, Greenwich, Madison and Clinton Connecticut. Ms. Sullivan holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Massachusetts and a Master of Architecture degree from Syracuse University. She is licensed in Connecticut and New York and is a member of the American Institute of Architects. She is also a member of the Architectural Design Review Board in Clinton, Connecticut.
