A Senior Architect at George Penniman Architects since 2006, Mr. Fennell is involved in all aspects of the firm’s work. Before joining George Penniman Architects, Stephen worked for large and small architecture and architecture/ engineering firms in Connecticut and Rhode Island. Stephen has overseen project teams that have included sound acousticians, geotechnical consultants, structural engineers, and environmental consultants. His range of experience varies in project types and sizes, from large university and commercial buildings to small residential additions. Within the diverse project list Stephen has worked on LEED certified and award winning buildings.

Mr. Fennell holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Roger Williams University with a Minor in Historic Preservation. He is licensed in Connecticut and a member of the American Institute of Architects and National Council of Architectural Registration Boards.
